5 Home Yoga Spaces That Inspire

THERE IS SOMETHING GREAT ABOUT YOGA.

It relaxes your mind and body (even though the last time I did it, my muscles were sore for a whole week!). It can be good for relieving stress, which is something that we need due to our busy lifestyles and ever growing to-do lists. What I really enjoy about it is that you don’t really need fancy pants equipment or even to leave the house (bonus!). It can be fun to go to a class and work with a partner, using your weight to deepen stretches, although it’s not so fun when you get paired up with the really strong person who pushes your muscles to their limits. Yikes!

Having a home yoga space that rocks, is essential for everyday practice, it will be easy to access before or after work and allow you to feel like you have been taken away to a peaceful place.

THESE ARE THE TOP 5 HOME YOGA SPACES THAT INSPIRE ME...

Au Naturel

There is something special about practicing yoga outdoors. For starters it’s free! You get your fresh air, sunlight and a happy feeling of being in touch with nature. You have less distractions (hopefully without noisy neighbours or passing traffic) which is perfect for the concentration and dedication that yoga requires.

Being outdoors is also great for the breathing techniques practiced with yoga. Besides that, who wouldn’t love a yoga space like this?! With the white drapes and coordinating accessories, it just looks so pretty.

Feminine Touch

A great studio with hints of color, the purple mats and coordinating orchids match well with the gold plant stands and Buddha wall art. The fresh flowers add a feminine decorative feature and the flowy drapes are pulled shut for soft lighting, perfect for meditation after yoga or as I like to call it “snooze time.”

Oriental

Travel is more than just seeing the beautiful sights this world has to offer. It’s also about getting to know people who hold different beliefs and come from varied cultures.

This oriental home yoga space goes to show that you can use the shape of your room to it’s advantage, with a neutral color palette and great windows, this space is perfect for a zen home hub.

Nature in the City

Love this! I would totally have this in my home if I could. A small space that comes together beautifully with the use of indoor plants and wooden deck tiles for a cozy yoga space. The natural lighting makes a huge difference to this room.

Despite this home being in the city, it goes to show how simple and gorgeous a home yoga space can be with just a few basic elements along with clean design.
