One of my favourite places for ideas and inspiration is Etsy; it’s my go-to place for jewellry, printed t-shirts, and gifts. Buying something from an Etsy store is extra special because of the care and craftsmanship that goes into the work. I have bought a few gifts (and the odd treat for myself) including a cute hand knitted bunny from handylittleme that I gave to my friend when she had a baby last year. It was so cute that I almost kept it! The bunny, that is! So if you don’t have an account already, sign up and browse the incredibly awesome handmade stuff! This is the best place to find something unique and original for your home, with many shops offering fresh, contemporary designs. I have a wishlist of home decor items I want right now and I can’t wait any longer to share them with you!

Just look at this contemporary, hand printed, geometric tea towel which is 100% union linen and available in a variety of colors. I love the clean lines and modern look which would go beautiful in my little kitchen! It would probably look great as wall art too, framed with another couple of pieces. Hmm… I can see a gallery wall taking shape!

I am just loving this concrete block paperweight! This would be a well used object and look great in my workspace. I always need something to hold my notebooks and magazines open and this stylish, diamond shaped block would be a perfect choice. It can also be used as a jewellery holder! (think draping bracelets over it)... Bonus!

I really like this minimal wooden clock made from reclaimed pallets; it has such a rustic appearance mixed with modernity. This would look incredible in practically any space and I love that it has been made from reclaimed wood.

4.Inspirational Quote from FunMedia

I need this poster in my life! I do love an inspirational quote (you should see my laptop wallpaper! I currently have the “Heck Yes” from Design Love Fest) and I think this would be great above my desk as a sweet reminder that happiness is what you make it! This is a free download, so you can print it out yourself and frame it to look pretty!

5.Geometric Pillow from ThingsThatSing

I just love all of the pillows (and shower curtains!) from this Etsy shop and this one is definitely my favorite. The bold black and white geometric design really speaks to me and feels modern. The pillow cover is hand stitched and available in different colors and sizes. I would want a few different styles from this shop on my sofa for sure!
