As this year’s Spring market closes its doors let’s have a look at some of the goings on of the last six days.
Tobi Fairley launched her new collection at this year’s market with partners CR Laine and Soicher Marin.
Fairley has been talking about the accessories she used to complement her upholstery designs which are from Dallas based Times Two Design. The accessories are inspired by organic shapes and materials, like agate, quartz, wood, and malachite. Fairley is using their quartz lamp in her CR Laine room designs.
The Times Two Design space was viewed at Suites at Market Square, space M-4012.
Texas based Amanda Carol of Amanda Carol Interiors loved every minute of this year’s High Point. She has been blogging and instagramming unfailingly about her time there. It seems she was particularly fond of the brass and wood work in the Bernhard showroom.
Amanda is also excited about the possibility of printed sofas making a come back. Take a look at this Robert Allen print.
I'm not so sure about the printed sofa, but you can sign me up for some of these ottomans from Thibaut!

And at this year's market you may even have caught sight of some celebrities. Country singer Trisha Yearwood and Chicago Bears’ defensive end Jared Allen unveiled their new collections. Yearwood teamed up with Klaussner Home Furnishings of Asheboro to make the Trisha Yearwood Home Collection. Lane Furniture partnered with Allen to make the Valor "comfort king" recliner, big enough to comfortably bear the weight of his 6’ 6” frame.
Lisa Ferguson and Gail Doby have been doing their thing as part of the educational seminars at High Point. The Flourish Summit gave advice to designers on how to increase earnings and rekindle passion for design.
Also keeping us up to date with all the goings on at High Point 2015 were the style spotters. High Point Market recruited top home fashion trendsetters to showcase their favorite products and top trends during the High Point Market. Check them out on pinterest where they discuss emerging trends and share their top selections.
This years 'stars under the stars' event was sadly affected by bad weather and so the scheduled Chris Cross was unable to perform. But this didn’t dampen the atmosphere of the event. High Point 2015 has been another resounding success with record numbers of attendees and sales.
